Chapter Nine

Durk turned the TV up as the news showed the latest casualty of the AB’s recent battle against a group niggers who was actually inflicted by one of their own first.

Just a few months ago, he’d buried Tank a dear friend of his. At Tank’s funeral in Springfield weeks, after he was slain in Goodlettsville, his sergeant-at-arms was shot and killed by a fellow AB in an apparent quarrel among club members. His boy Gooch and a few others confronted the accused gunman, Travis, over his perceived failure to have protected Tank during the brawl, prompting Travis to pull a gun on Gooch. They pounced on Travis as mourners streamed out of the cemetery, preventing police officers at the funeral from making an arrest. In the end, it was unclear that whoever descended on Travis did so to subdue him, beat him or help him escape, but eyewitnesses said he was whisked away in a truck which was true and Durk knew who the fucker was who had helped him! The eyewitnesses stated it was black monster of a truck. Durk hadn’t realized that Alton was even at the funeral.

Durk picked up the phone and dialed Eytin’s number it rang a few times and it rolled over to voicemail. That little shit! Of course, he wouldn’t answer the damn phone but he knew where the fuck he was and he was going to pick his nephew’s ungrateful ass up and he was going to tell him where the fuck Alton’s ass was. He knew William wouldn’t give up the whereabouts of his son so he would take another route around William. Eytin and Alton were close friends and he would find Alton’s ass and do away with him discreetly. Travis was should have died that day and Alton had fucked up by helping him and now with this new information surfacing about him fuck’in a black woman it was time for Travis, Alton and his black whore to fuck’in die! If William stepped in his way then his ass would die as well. It was time for a change of command here in Nashville and he was just the one to take it over.

He sent a text over to Caio, Josh and Dax to load up in the van and pick him up. They had some tracks to make before William arrived.
